Georgian Blue & White Transfer Print Saucer
This would have been made for a tea bowl, precursor of the tea cup (bowls hand no handle). The cup was for brewing and then you could pour your tea without the leaves into the saucer to drink. I love the faded blue and white Willow pattern, later examples are much more strident. Use this as you would a coaster, or simply to enjoy looking at!
