White Porcelain Basket
Early period Belleek ceramic basket. I particularly enjoy the stave construction and the naturalistic detailing. It’s perfect for a tiny plant like a cyclamen. Belleek had a bit of rocky history in the 20th C. (what didn’t?), but in it’s heyday it was justly famous for it’s excellent and witty depictions of everyday objects in their trademark white, the originally Casa Pupo!
