Georgian Porcelain Saucer
Red and gold with very fine gilding, this sort of thing was hugely labour intensive to make, I love the interlocking geometric pattern! I use this sort of saucer all the time, under jam on the breakfast table, as a coaster for a water glass by a bed, under a candle (the gilding looks sensational with candle light playing on it!).
